The Industrial Area "Bernbruch Nord" is situated in the north of Kamenz city centre and in directly neighbourhood of the commercial area "Am Ochsenberg“. The industrial area ranges about 52 hectares, which are reserved until 2026.
At the moment Daimler invests half a million Euros at the location. This is an expansion of 8 hectares for the local daughter company Deutsche ACCUmotive GmbH & Co.KG.
LAGEBESCHREIBUNG:
Das Industriegebiet Bernbruch Nord befindet sich nördlich des Stadtzentrums und ist direkt benachbart zum Gewerbegebiet Am Ochsenberg gelegen.
Die Bundesautobahnen A4 und A 13 sind in kurzer Zeit zu erreichen. Das Industriegebiet Bernbruch Nord befindet sich an der Staatsstraße S 94 und unweit des Verkehrslandeplatzes der Stadt.
Außerdem verfügt das Industriegebiet Bernbruch Nord über unmittelbare Nähe zur Landeshauptstadt Dresden (ca. 50 km, Zugverbindung im Stundentakt).

The major municipal town of Kamenz is situated in the Free State of Saxony in the Federal Republic of Germany. Kamenz is in the border triangle of Germany, Poland and the Czech Republic and has a size of around 9,500 hectares and approximately 17,000 inhabitants. The industrial location of Kamenz lies about 50 km north east of the State Capital of Dresden and 30 km northwest of the city of Bautzen.
The industrial location of Kamenz has a well-developed infrastructure. It is very easy to reach Dresden, Leipzig and Berlin international airports from Kamenz. Kamenz also has its own Commercial Airfield (one of the oldest in Germany).
There is a good connection to the A4 federal motorway via the motorway approach road, Burkau junction. There is also a connection to the A13 federal motorway at the Ruhland junction (distance of approx. 31 km). There are railway services every hour to and from the State Capital of Dresden.
